Monkey Hanging Around - Your Next Stamp

Happy Terrific Tuesday Everyone:

How about some monkey business today!!  This adorable little dude is from Your Next Stamp and he/she is called "Monkey Hanging Around".  One of the things I just love about YNS stamps is how easy & quick they are to colour.  The stamps offer clean lines and they are just plain fun to use.  In keeping with the monthly theme of "Love" I coloured my little guy with Copic's using the SEI "With All My Hearts" patterned paper.  The stamping is done on Xpress It the ink is Memento Tuxedo Black.

 
I used the Nestability die "Labels One" with a MS punch for the border.  Misc. supplies include large eyelets & ribbon.  I used my Ink Blending Tool to add 1st Old Paper Distress Ink to the white cardstock followed by some Frayed Burlap around the edges.

It's the "Love Shack" with "Shopper Fhiona"

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I'm back today with another card using Your Next Stamp, this time it's "Love Shack" with "Shopper Fhiona".  Little Miss Fhiona is out to get her significant other something very special for "Valentine's Day" which is just around the corner ladies.  This card will be for my darling DH this year..think I'll enclose a gift card for his favourite store.  I used Splitcoast Sketch Challenge #SC314 for the layout on this card.

On the large white piece of cardstock I used my Ink Blending Tool, starting with Spun Sugar Distress Ink in the middle & then the outer edge with Old Paper Distress Ink.  All images are stamped on Xpress It cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  When I cut out Fhiona I cut off the purse by mistake, so I completed cutting her out and made the shopping bag pop up with some black floss for a handle.  Sometimes I just love how mistakes turn out kinda' cool!

Lovin' from the Oven with Party Fhiona

Well Happy New Year everyone...yes I know it's Jan. 9th already but this is my first card of the year!

Merry Mouse Eve - Your Next Stamp (SC301)

I hope everyone here in Canada has recovered from their Thanksgiving dinner.  I know I should visit the scales to see how much I shouldn't have eaten..oh well there is still time to get it off before Christmas. The sketch I am using today is from Splitcoaststampers SC301.

Today I have an awesome new stamp from none other than Your Next Stamp.  This is a new image from their October release which just went up on my website today.  This little fellow is called "Merry Mouse Eve" isn't he just a cutie!!  I think this release from YNS is simply to die for...come check them out here!

Digger - Your Next Stamp (SC299)

I adore this little fella named Digger the Mole by Your Next Stamp.  It is confirmed he is a mole & yep I had to ask, you would think I would have just read the stamp name eh..I'm so not good with the furry guys or reading it seems LOL!

I chose Digger for this week's Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge because I just thought he fit the layout perfectly.

Kite Flying Fhiona - Your Next Stamp (SC296)

I created this card especially for an RAK.  I picked this image from Your Next Stamp called Kit Flying Fhiona for the card because the sentiment inspired me just like the young girl whom I have never met.  I wanted to create the look and feel of my image floating on a cloud, not too sure if I did it or not.

Ellie Loves Gardening - Your Next Stamp

So yesterday I said that I would have another YNS stamped image for you today...well here she is it's Ellie Loves Gardening.  I just love that rockin' scarf she wears, it's so cool!

Again the inside of this card is exactly the same as the outside but I have left it blank for a message but this is a close up of Ellie.

Hmmm...not too sure what I will post tomorrow...I have a couple more cards ready...but I think I will just leave it a surprise for now!

Ethan Out on the Pond - Your Next Stamp (SC297)

I was looking for a little bit of creative inspiration today so I popped over to Splitcoaststampers to check out this past Wednesday's sketch challenge.  I knew that I wanted to use this adorable image from Your Next Stamp called Ethan Out On The Pond and this card ended up being the result.

 
The inside of the card is exactly the same as the outside except I left if blank to write on but here is a close up of Ethan.  I coloured on the NEW Copic Xpress It Blending Cardstock....I LOVE IT.  It takes up far less ink than any other cardstock I have worked on.  I had NO issues with bleeding or feathering and the big test for this cardstock was how would it work with the high YG #'s...it performed AMAZING.  Check it out HERE
