Little Rascals - Stampavie

Did everyone make it through the freezing cold weekend....brrrr?!!!  It sure was a yucky weekend here, I'm so not a winter girl!!  I'm counting the days till Spring...today's card reminds me of just that...Spring...wish it would get here already.

For today's post I have used Little Rascals from Stampavie.  For the sentiment I used Whimsy's Bottle Cap Die & Retro Bottle Cap stamps.

Hi Everyone,

I know it's a double post for me today.  I thought since I would be so busy tomorrow I better just get this card up tonight.  I was feeling the challenge today...the double challenge that is.  I followed the Card Sketch from Splitcoaststampers #SC419 & the Colour Challenge #CC409....yep even I like to play sometimes.  The Colour Challenge through me off a little this week as typically I stick to 2 main colours & this one was 3, so I incorporated the 3rd colour, but just a little.  They were purple, rose & light pink.  Speaking of Challenges you still have time to enter the One Crazy Stamper "Anything Goes Challenge" for a chance to win some stamps.  You can find it HERE!

I chose this image from Stampavie called Kittie's Bow the little girl is just so darling!

I have added Prisma to my Copic colouring on this card.  The grass and shading around the image are done with Prisma.  The balance is all Copic.

I love Stampavie stamps but I have a difficult time visually seeing the image coloured.  I'm not too sure if it's because they are clear stamps or it's just the packaging in general.  But I have to say that everytime I stamp and colour one I'm always happy with the image.

Today I have used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #160 as the layout for my card.  I haven't played with a Mojo sketch for a while so I thought it might be fun.  I have used Gifts for You from Stampavie available on my website HERE.  This is such an easy stamp to colour..or at least I found it quick and easy.

Looking Chic - Stampavie

Well I missed my post last night because I'm a total reality show junkie...yes I am.  As most know it was the finale of one show and the start of another...all in one night.  I was there to the bitter end watching both but I'm back tonight with Lookin Chic by Stampavie.

 

I quite enjoyed colouring this image.  I tried to use a few fall colours on this card even though for tomorrow's card I ran like a chicken back to my summery colours.

My Little Lamb - Stampavie

When I saw this image I just fell in love with it and of course it just had to be part of my never ending collection of stamps.  This is My Little Lamb from Stampavie.

I wanted to wish all my fellow Canadian's HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!  I wish everyone a wonderful day with family and friends!!

I don't typically use orange tones when I make cards so I went outside the box for me on this one.  I really like the new Max & Whiskers patterned paper so I tried to pull some orange tones out of it along with a bit of rosey red.
