Thinking of you!

Today I'm sharing a bright & cheerful card using Thinking Posey Button Signage & Flower Button Border from High Hopes.

Sometimes I just want to send a card to a friend or family member that just tells them I'm thinking of them.  So I created this little cutie so I'm ready.

The Flower Button Border was almost the perfect size for this A2 card, I just nipped off two tiny little ends so it fit perfect.  I fussy cut out the border & then took a black marker to get rid of all the white edges and just went around the image.  It was an easy border to cut out & only took me a few minutes.

You can't see it in the photo but I did add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to parts of the flowers.  I just couldn't resist the gingham paper for this card.  I love gingham and never seem to use it.

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm back to share the adorable AnnaLee from the Darling Divas release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  I have actually coloured this cutie twice both a little different.

The 1st card is all about the pinks....

Lately I have been playing around with doing different types of grass.  Grass has always been one of those things I find very difficult to do...so I will continue my quest to practice.  I used some really old Spellbinder dies that have been calling my name from the cupboard forever lol.  I made all the little gumdrops with Nuvo Drops...gosh I love being able to make my own little drops, that's another thing that will still take more practice but practice makes perfect right.

The 2nd card is more about the blue turquoise theme....

The background on this card has a bit of a different pattern for the grass.  I also played around with a scallop die cut piece of paper and Memento Summer Sky ink to makes some clouds.  The flowers are a die cut from Lawn Fawn.  The little gumdrops are made with Nuvo Drops again.

Julie's Touch...Sneak Peak Day #2

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to High Hopes Rubber Stamps Sneak Peak Day #2.  This release from HH is called Fairies & Adventurers.  Yesterday I previewed one of the Adventurers and today I'm sharing one of the new Fairies.  This beauty is called "Julie's Touch".  

You can't tell from the photo but I have used a Stardust pen on Julie's dress so it sparkles so nicely.  On the wings I have used a Wink of Stella Clear pen.  Again you can't tell but this card is quite glittery!  The flowers were white & I air compressed them with V12 & V17.

The sentiment "have a magical day" will also be a part of the new releases coming out Friday, May 1st!

The Need for Caffeine

Hi Everyone, I missed getting this post up yesterday....and I was on a roll...blew that one LOL! This is an image I have had stamped and ready to colour since February...can you believe that.  Well finally this little sweetie is coloured.
