It's finally here....Spring that is!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Okay I was totally ready for the arrival of Spring...oh yes I was.  I made this card for my Mom a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of Springs arrival.  Mom will be so surprised to see that I have used frogs on the card.  Just in case you didn't know I'm not in love with frogs BUT these frogs are just too adorable.  I have used Froggy Stack and the Sign Post from High Hopes for this card.  I'm also over the moon for Elsabeth Craft dies they rock!  On this card I have used the Accordian Oval Die & the Oval Flourish Frame.  The paper is the new Springtime Collection from Doodlebug.

Bedtime Bear Baby Boy

Hi Everyone,

We just received the new Pebbles Baby paper this week and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.  I haven't started scrapbooking for my son yet..oh by the way he is 24 now.  Never to late to get started right!!  I do love to stamp on my layouts too so I included Bedtime Bear from High Hopes on this layout as well.  The adorable clouds are Hanging Clouds from Memory Box.

I did sew around all 3 layers of the pattered paper with a lime green thread, it's hard to see in the pic's.

High Hopes - 200th Blog Challenge

Today is the 200th Challenge for High Hopes Rubber Stamps. For over 7 years the team has been creating some amazing samples using High Hopes stamps. It has been a wonderful journey. Hi Everyone,

Today I'm back with the 2nd in my Series of Woodland Winter Layouts.  This one I have kept very simple as it is for my son...who doesn't like fussy stuff.  I have used Cool Claude from High Hopes on this layout...thought he was just perfect for my son, who will soon turn 24.  You can find all the Bo Bunny Woodland Winter stuff HERE if you are interested.

It's time for some Halloween card!!

Hi Everyone,

I have wanted to colour this lovely image from Whimsy called Hazel since it came out last year...finally I have done it!  This card is a 6 x 8 one of the largest cards I have made but I needed it to be large so I could incorporate the dies I just had to have as part of the design.  I have also used 2 High Hopes images - Batty Boo & Happy Halloween.  I will use these again in another card I'm working on.  I popped everything up on foam dimensionals.  This card is for my daughter's math teacher so I hope she likes it. 

It's really hard to tell from the picture but I covered the tree, bats, fence and a few other parts with a new product we just go in called Wink Of Stella.  If it happens to sell out fear not there is more on the way!  I used a clear & silver for this card, there is also gold in the package which I will reserve for another card.  The pumpkins were made from an oval punch and coloured with Copic's.

Thank you for coming to visit the OCS Blog Hop featuring High Hopes Christmas Release!

I know what you are thinking....gosh where has Lora been...well at least I hope you were thinking that!  Well here I am & WELCOME to the our Blog Hop featuring the NEW release of Christmas images from one of my personal fav companies High Hopes!

So I want to start with my little story.  I took 1 day off this summer which was Sept. 1st and my hubby and I took our daughter to see Karen & Guy at High Hopes.  Okay it was really more of a fun day for me, not to mention my hubby did the 2 hours worth of driving.  But while the boys took Emilee to play mini putt putt, Karen taught me how to colour with Tombow's.  Now I have been the proud owner of a full set of Tombow's for at least 6 years, I did give them to my daughter when I got my Copic's.  Well several week's ago I took them back....can you believe that, what a terrible thing to do eah!  It was all good Emilee didn't mind at all.  So back to the colouring part...I did not want to learn these Tombow marker things....UNTIL NOW!  Karen's is one of the BEST people I know with a Tombow marker in her hand.  Her work is just amazing.  So who better than that to teach me...right!  Well teach me she did I am in LOVE with them now!

So I was able to look through some of the stuff Karen had all coloured up and ready to go and I was to copy the colouring that she did.  I went right for Making Friends because I love him AND he was coloured with purple, which I love too.

Now here is what I did.  I used all the same colours of Tombow's which are listed below, but I made a card with mine.

Are you ready for the High Hopes Sneak Peak Day 1!!!!

It's finally here...the 1st day of the High Hopes Sneak Peaks!!!  I had so much trouble trying to decide which stamp to ink up first, I love them all!!  The new releases will go live on the OCS website Wednesday, January 9th....so please come check them all out.

I have tons and tons of stamps in the OCS store but not much to cover the area that High Hopes has with this release.  So I'm thrilled because it gives us more options....and who doesn't love more options!

First up I have Snoozin' Sam...gosh I can think of soooo many things to do with this stamp.  I have been waiting for my Dad to retire, which he should have at least 3 years ago.  I can't wait till he does because this card will be perfect for him.  Not to mention he is the proud owner of 4 cats...oh yes I said 4 cats!!
