Guess what day it is? It's Release Day for the NEW High Hopes Rubber Stamps "Modes of Transportation" images! We are super excited to share these adorable & classic images with you today.
I chose Little Engine to share with you today because it reminds me so much of my son when he was young. He played with trains non stop and we always read The Little Engine That Could at bedtime.
I colored my image up with Copic first & then did a little shading with Prisma. I sometimes find that I can't get just the right Orange I'm looking for with just Copic so adding some Prisma helps.
I created the train track with a SVG file from Silhouette, I loved how it cut out on my Sizzix Eclips 2. Just a note that cutting this SVG smaller that 5 1/2" wide can create a lot of tearing on your paper. So since I wasn't pleased with smaller sizes I just trimmed the 5 1/2" wide to fit my matting.
My intent with this card is to use it for a Birthday or a primary school grad card. I have left the inside blank until I decide who it's going to this way I can still change my mind if I need to.
