Happy New Year everyone!!! I thought I would get the New Year started off right with a card, it has been such a long time. Hoping I can keep this going for 2016....
This adorable image is called "Peg Leg Pete" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. The sentiment is "Pirates Birthday" also from High Hopes. I have had the fish netting for quite sometime just waiting in the wings and ready to be put to good use. I love the Echo Park Pirates collection as it just works perfectly with the High Hopes pirate images....there are several to choose from.
Peg Leg Pete is colored with Copics of course...my fav! I am such a real fan of shading with Warm Greys whenever I can, I love the muted soft look of them. So all the shading is done with the Warm Greys.
