What's your colouring medium?

Today I have two cards for you.  Both the same card but one is coloured with all Prisma and the other with Copic & Prisma for a bit of shading.  I am using Travelling Colors from Saturated Canary.  You can find the stamp HERE!

The 1st one is Copic with Prisma shading.

Copic:  E000,300,E21,E25,E27,E35,B91,B93,B95,V000,V12,V01,G40,G43,W1,W3,W5,B0000

Prisma:  Parma Violet, Indigo Blue, Rose

The 2nd one is all Prisma pencils.

Prisma:  True Green, Parriot Green, Blue Slate, Warm Grey 20%, Warm Grey 50%, Light Cerulean Blue, Indigo Blue, Beige, Light Peach, Peach, Pink, Cool Grey 30%, Cool Grey 70%, Cream, Sienna Brown, Dark Brown, Black, Lilac, Parma Violet

I tried to keep the colours very similar.  I couldn't decide which version I liked better but I am leaning toward the vibrancy of the Copic.  What do you think?

Little Rascals - Stampavie

Did everyone make it through the freezing cold weekend....brrrr?!!!  It sure was a yucky weekend here, I'm so not a winter girl!!  I'm counting the days till Spring...today's card reminds me of just that...Spring...wish it would get here already.

For today's post I have used Little Rascals from Stampavie.  For the sentiment I used Whimsy's Bottle Cap Die & Retro Bottle Cap stamps.

Kitie's Bow, CC409 & SC419

Hi Everyone,

I know it's a double post for me today.  I thought since I would be so busy tomorrow I better just get this card up tonight.  I was feeling the challenge today...the double challenge that is.  I followed the Card Sketch from Splitcoaststampers #SC419 & the Colour Challenge #CC409....yep even I like to play sometimes.  The Colour Challenge through me off a little this week as typically I stick to 2 main colours & this one was 3, so I incorporated the 3rd colour, but just a little.  They were purple, rose & light pink.  Speaking of Challenges you still have time to enter the One Crazy Stamper "Anything Goes Challenge" for a chance to win some stamps.  You can find it HERE!

I chose this image from Stampavie called Kittie's Bow the little girl is just so darling!

I have added Prisma to my Copic colouring on this card.  The grass and shading around the image are done with Prisma.  The balance is all Copic.

I love Stampavie stamps but I have a difficult time visually seeing the image coloured.  I'm not too sure if it's because they are clear stamps or it's just the packaging in general.  But I have to say that everytime I stamp and colour one I'm always happy with the image.

It's Soho!!

This isn't an image I would normally choose to colour but I thought this gal was pretty.  This is Soho from Whimsy a Kenny K image.  Love that hair!  I paired the image with Retro Bottle Cap stamps & die also from Whimsy.

Best Friends Luka - La La Land

Today I have a sweet image from La La Land called Best Friends Luka.  These images colour up really quick so they are perfect for a gal like me who is always in such a rush....or shall I say always trying to get to many things checked off the list for the day.  Luka holding his dog Tuffy reminds me of my son when he was a little guy holding his new puppy.

I snuck in a couple of pieces of chipboard left over from a project which was really old.  I have no idea where I got them but they were in the stash and worked perfect with this older paper from WR Memory Keepers.

Groove Dude for a Groovy Dude!!

Well I am way ahead of the game this year!  My amazing husband's birthday isn't until March 5th & for the first time ever I already have his card done!!!!  Woooo hooo!  This is Groove Dude from Whimsy a Kenny K image & I just think he is sooo cool!!

Here comes the Cool Kid!!

Today I have Cool Kid by Kenny K (from Whimsy Stamps).  I am on a little mission this year to create more masculine themed cards which I always seem to struggle with.  The image on this card is cut out an instead of using foam dimensionals to pop him up I used a Wobble.  So he has some action going on which I thought perfectly suited the fact that he seems to be movin' to the groove with his Ipod.

The sentiments are computer generated and punched out with a scallop punch.  I have coloured with Copic's and done some shading with Prisma pencils.
