I have another new release from High Hopes to share with you today. This oh so cool dude is called "Maurice" and he will be available from One Crazy Stamper on June 1st along with all the other new releases. This is the perfect image for those "Guy" cards....hmm they have a special day coming soon don't they! Maurice is coloured with Inktense pencils on watercolour paper.

I'm back today with a Sneak Peak of the new High Hopes release coming on June 1st. I couldn't wait to play with these new releases! I have Buggy Frog for you today...isn't she just too cute. I typically rarely colour animals and most certainly not frogs...but I couldn't resist this one...looks like I might be taking a fancy to frogs!!! Buggy is coloured with the new Inktense pencils which One Crazy Stamper currently has up for Pre-Order. These pencils are INK IN A PENCIL yep that's right. They are so easy to work with and come in 72 colours. So not too much choice to boggle your mind but just enough to get the job done.

I have been playing a lot with my new Inktense pencils from Derwent. I will have these amazing pencils up for Pre-Order on the website in a day or so. The Pre-Order will be for the 72 pc set, we will also have single pencils available. Product is expected in about 3-4 weeks. If you haven't heard of Inktense pencils here is a little info: They are from the UK for starters. I describe them basically as ink in a pencil. They are water soluble so they are so easy to work with. If you like working with water base markers but find them a little difficult to work with these pencils will most certainly be the solution for you. They are available in 72 colours, not too much on the skin tone line but I carefully use my Copic's for skin if I need them. I will play around with the colour choices to see if I can come up with something over the next little while. In the mean time I love to use them for their vibrancy and ease of use.
Today's image is from High Hopes and this cute little dude is Tire Swingin' Dragon, you can find him here. I coloured this image in about 20 minutes flat...so very quick to work with. You can't tell from the pic's but the little dragon swings back and forth!

Lulu is riding by just to say hi!! I'm glad you are here today, thanks for visiting. This is Lulu from Kraftin' Kimmie's new May release the set is called "Lulu on the Move". I'm pretty sure I mentioned the other day that I just adore Lulu she is just so darn cute.
The flowers on this card were cut out using the Mega Rose Spellbinder set. After I cut them out I used the round embossing tools on the back just to give them a bit more dimension. A little hard to tell from the pictures.

I had the pleasure of spending the day with none other than Kraftin' Kimmie herself this past weekend. In fact I was double graced because the lovely Kerry Johnson was also with Kimmie at my National Scrapbook Day event. Are you picking up on the vibe that I was VERY excited to have these two lovely ladies at my event?!!! Well I was!!
In all my excitement I forgot to take a picture with the 3 of us together...oh I will just have to snap that one next time!
Guess what I got to play with? This month's new releases...oh ya! I am totally in love with Lulu...okay I know that sounds CRAZY but she is just so CUTE!!! So what was the first set I went on the hunt for? Well the new Lulu of course. So without further ado...this is a sneaky peaky at one of the new Lulu images coming your way this weekend!!!
