Elf Bell Final Card

So yesterday I showed you Card #2 on this my personal blog and Card #1 on the OCS DT Blog.  Today I have the final Elf Bell for you.  This little mousy is coloured with brown tones, I think I like the warm greys the best.  I do have a new favorite colour combo..that being the BG70's...they are awesome.  Up till now I had not used them too much...but they are for sure in the fav's pile as of this moment!

Elf Bell Mouse - Card #2

This is my 2nd Elf Bell Mouse from Whimsy card...#3 is coming tomorrow, but you can see #1 on the OCS DT Blog today HERE. I wanted to make some cards for my daughter's teachers and actually finish them this year. I always end up pulling cards from last year's stash because I perpetually leave things to the last minute...does anybody else do that? I really don't colour a lot of animals. I don't know why perhaps it's just because I love to colour images of people. Oh well I'm going outside the box for 2012..I'm getting a jump start now!! On each of the three cards you will notice I coloured the mice with a different set of colours, I'm not too sure which one I like the best. But I am practising with the mice because I want to get going on some House Mouse cards..so stay tuned for those.

This little guy is coloured with Copic's using the following colours.

Mouse - C6, C5, C4, C3, C1

Bell & Hat - BG13, BG11, BG10

Ribbon & Hat - R85, R89, R83

Ears, Hand, Tail & Feet - E00, E21, E11, R20

Misc. Supplies - I loved the new Notables Sentiments and matching Noteables 1 from Whimsy, patterned paper is Winterland from Fancy Pants, I used the Burnished Velvet Technique to complete the background behind the mouse with Cranberry (Winter Collection) & Ice Blue Glitter Ritz. I also used the Spellbinders Beaded Circle and Standard Circle dies. Oh yes I also through in some Ultra Fine White Flower Soft, Kaiser Craft Snow Pearls & some misc. Organza ribbon to finish it off.

Bye Bye Boy....Happy Birthday!!

Okay so who thought I wasn't going to post another card anytime soon??? Ahhhh but here I am!! I actually have several cards in the hopper ready to post for you all over the next little while. So here's my thought...I figured that if I could get a bunch of cards ready to post, while I kept making more, I might actually be able to post on a regular basis.....let's see if this little brain wave of mine works!!

This is a card that I made last weekend for my Godson's 1st Birthday. We bought him a convertable stroller/tricycle thing...it was pretty cool. So when I scouted the store for the right image this one from Stamping Bella called Bye Bye Boy pratically jumped off the rack at me.
