Tilda with Flowers Sitting in Chair

I made this card for a birthday party my daughter is going to today, hope the little girls likes it.  It was a bit of a challenge finding just the right blue's for this patterned paper & I can't say I'm totally thrilled with the end result but time has run out and the party is today so we are going with it.

I used SU patterned paper & cardstock on this one.  The images are stamped on Prism Simply Smooth with Memento Black ink.

Close up of Tilda and the inside, I am totally hooked on doing the inside now I think I will continue doing this.

 

I didn't have the proper colour pearls so I used my compressor and Copic Sketch markers to spray the pearls with Y15 to match.  I also used the MS butterfly edge punch and corner punch.  I stamped Tilda, coloured her & cut the image out so I could place her on the chair.  You could also create a mask for the same effect.

Beauty Within - Flourishes

Well it has been a LONG time since I stamped or coloured a flower image.  When I received the new Flourishes stamps in the store I just had to be the proud owner of this set "Beauty Within".  First off the stained glass stamp fits right inside the Spellbinders Nestabilities 11 die which totally blew me away...and they designed it that way, how cool is that!  Secondly I love roses, the list can go on but I won't bore you let's get to the card.  This is a Gatefold card done in 6 x 6 see yesterday's post for cutting instructions.

Misc.  All the cardstock, brads and patterned paper are SU.  The flowers are Kaiser Craft, I sprayed the flowers with "Frost" Shimmer Spritz by Tsukineko (I'm lovin' that stuff)., Spellbinders Nestabilities 11 Die, MS punch

Mimo Tree - Bildmalarna

Today and tomorrow I will have a couple of Gatefold cards for you.  You can view the instructions here for the Splitcoaststampers version which is a standard A2 size.  The cards I created for my class were 6 x 6.  I used Mimo Tree from Bildmalarna for this card.

Start with a 12 x 6 sheet of cardstock and score at 3" & 9", when folded this will create a 6 x 6 card.  You can change the layers up anyway you like but for this card here are the measurements:

Cardstock - 6 x 12 for base Prism Clay

Cardstock - 2 3/4" x 5 4/5" (4 pcs) American Craft Spinach

Patterned Paper - 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" (4 pcs) Kaiser Craft

Cardstock - 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" (1 pc) American Craft Spinach

Patterned Paper - 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" (1 pc) Kaiser Craft

Misc:  ribbon, button & mini brads

Copic's:  E33, E47, E44, Y21, YR20, E31, G85, G82, YR14, YR12, YR24, YG93, E000, E00, E01, R20
