My Little Lamb - Stampavie

When I saw this image I just fell in love with it and of course it just had to be part of my never ending collection of stamps.  This is My Little Lamb from Stampavie.

I wanted to wish all my fellow Canadian's HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!  I wish everyone a wonderful day with family and friends!!

I don't typically use orange tones when I make cards so I went outside the box for me on this one.  I really like the new Max & Whiskers patterned paper so I tried to pull some orange tones out of it along with a bit of rosey red.

I'm totally into doing the inside of my cards now because I think they just feel more complete.  I still do not typically stamp a verse just so that I can use them for anything then.

Happy Friends - Bildmalarna

This week I am enjoying a bit of R & R on holiday's..going no place special except the backyard.  My youngest finished school today and she is just tickled it's summer for her, too bad it is going down to 9C tonight.  Not exactly pool weather, but she will be in there anyway..LOL!

I have a little pool..no pun intended of completed cards which I will be posting over the next few days.  I'm trying to get ahead so I can post more often than not.

The first card up is a terrific image from Bildmalarna called Happy Friends.  I really had to give this image a bit of thought.  Backgrounds are certainly not my specialty by any means but I gave it my gallant effort.

I'm sorry the camera flash picked up the Smooch paint a little too well...okay so it's me I know.

Daisy Doodle - Kraftin' Kimmie

Well here is my 2nd post of the day...again whoo hoo!  For this Tri-shutter card I used Daisy Doodle from Kraftin' Kimmie and coloured with Copic's.  Another simple not too embellished card for me today.

Mimosa Hello - Bildmalarna

Today I will have two post's for you...whoo hoo!  The first one is Mimosa Hello from Bildmalarna.  I have created a fairly simple not too embellished Tri-Shutter card,  Mimosa is coloured with Copic's.

I truly need to brush up on my photography skills...maybe next week I will get going on that while I'm on vacation.

Tilda Picking Apples

Today I have a very quick post for you.  I love my Magnolia stamps and I admit to having a sizable collection of these lovely stamps.  I have not inked one for a couple of months so tonight I just could wait any longer...I did up this card pretty quickly so please excuse any errors you might see.  I don't carry Magnolia stamps in my on-line store but I lovem' anyway.  I'm not quite certain of the proper name for this Tilda as I received this image from a friend but I'm thinking perhaps "Tilda picking apples"..maybe??  Oh well that's what we will call her tonight anyway.  If someone wants to let me know her proper name that would be wonderful.

I coloured with a mit full of Copic's...which by the way are all available in my on-line store, if they aren't showing they will be by mid next week.

Mimo Fishing - Bildmalarna

Hi There:

I created this card for my daughter to give to Daddy for Father's Day using Mimo Fishingfrom Bildmalarna.  I used BildiSketch004 challenge from Bildmalarnastampersblog as my layout.  I made a couple of minor changes but not too much.

Materials Used:

Cardstock:  Bazzill Sienna & Raven, Prism White for stamping

Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Max & Whiskers "Hercules Max-2463

Copics:

Hair:  Y21, Y23 & YR24

Skin:  E01, E000 & E00

Fishing Pole & Net:  T1, T2 & T3

Jacket & Patch:  E11, E15 & E13

Pants:  BG49, BG45 & BG34

Highlighting around Mimo:  W0, W1 & W3

I also added a bit of Red & White Smooch paint.  The snaps are from the never ending collection of stuff and so are the letters.  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities 12for the white cardstock and then cut a square 1/4" larger and used a SU punch for the corners of the Sienna piece.

Next up is my post for today I have a wonderful image from The Greeting Farm for you today called TT Max.  This image is set to retire from The Greeting Farm collection so grab it while you can, I think it is just an adorable stamp. 

I made this card for my 20 year old son to give to his Grandfather.  I know he's 20 but he loves to play video games and I know his Grandfather will think it's cute & I hope you do as well.

The cardstock is Bazzill - Walnut & Fawn, the patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Max & Whiskers collection called "Hercules".  I used nesties to cut the circles and squares and a couple of SU punches for the greeting.  The greeting is a rub-on from the never ending stash.  I added some baubles and brads from the endless collection of supplies as well.

The Copic's I used were:

Top - E40, E41& E43

Pants - G94, G99 & BG96

Socks:  E43 & E47

Hair :  Y21, Y234 & YR24

Skin:  E000, E01 & E00

Controller:  C2 & C4
