Mimosa Cafe - Bildmalarna

I had such a great time working on this card.  One of my favourite colour combo's is Pink and brown.  I used some Core'dinations brown cardstock on this card and distressed it with a sanding block.  I used Bo Bunny Double Dot for the patterned paper.  I also distress the patterned paper with the sanding block.

Mimosa Cafe, available here is coloured with Copic's.  A little air brushing, Liquid Applique, Kaiser Craft Rhinestones & Stickles help to finish her off.  The punch is MS & Mimosa is stamped with Tuxedo Black & cut out with a Spellbinders square die.

It's a little difficult to see in the picture but I did add a bit of glaze to the cup and the table.

Mimosa on the Bench - Bildmalarna

Well I spent the weekend at Scrapfest in Kitchener which means I had two 12 hour days to colour my little brains out...guess how much I managed to get done??  A whopping 2 card designs, I think I spent to much time chatting and looking when I should have been working!  Oh well there is always next time right!

I am posting one of the cards I managed to get done during my free time she is the lovely Mimosa on the Bench as I call her, but, Bildmalarna calls her Mimosa Heart Flower she is available on my website here. 

I coloured with Copic's..who doesn't these days, all the colours are listed below.  I brought along my air compressor because I just couldn't not have it along with the other 3 cases of stuff I took, my DH almost broke his back taking all the stuff to the van..which by the way we had to take the seats out of so I could pack all my stuff in.  Anyhow back to the card.  I used Bo Bunny Double Dot..where are the dots you say, well they are on the reverse side..that's why I love this paper is has two completely different looks it also available on my website here.  I used Kaiser Kraft pearls..love those things, I used my BG13 to help them match my card they were white, also available here.  I used Spellbinders Labels 10, you can see the whole set here.  I also brought along my little Elna sewing machine, she only weighs in at 3 lbs which ways less than my purse!  I added some stickles too.  I stamped on Prism Simply Smooth with Memento Black ink.  The punch is MS.

Mimosa's Summer Day - Bildmalarna & MojoMonday 134

I started colouring this lovely little Mimosa several day's ago but I wasn't really too sure where I was going with it..so I put her aside.  Today I wanted her to have a purpose..so I decided to jump in on the Mojo Monday challenge.  The colours I used on this card are WAY out of my comfort zone, so I will most certainly need some more practice.

I used a mitten full of Copic's:  E00, E000, E01, C3, C5, C7, YR65, YR61, YR31, T2, T1, T0, E21, E25, E29, E31, E33, E35, E37, YG00, YG03, YG01, Y21, Y26, Y21, B43, B45, B95, G21, G82

Cardstock is American Craft Blueberry, patterned paper is Kaiser Craft Hideway.  I stamped on Prism Simply Smooth with Tuxedo Black.  The flowers are Prima & the pearl is Kaiser Craft.  I used a Martha Stewart punch as well.  I masked the image after I coloured it & then air brushed with the Y28 marker.

Bildmalarna - Mimosa on the Fence

I don't think I have ever made a card with so many Copic colours...I used a mit full on this one..pic is below because there were so many.

I used American Craft textured cardstock (Clay) together with Bo Bunny Double Dot patterned paper (Chocolate & Chiffon).  I used Prima flowers here, I used the air compressor to change the white flower to yellow to match the flowers in the Mimosa stamp, same with the leaves.  The pearls are Kaiser Craft which I also sprayed with the air compressor to match.  The punch on the side is Martha Stewart.  I added Stickles too...Gunmetal for the fence and pail and Crystal on the flowers and Mimosa's bow..oh yes and a bit of Crystal on the flower too...a girl can never have too much sparkle!

Tilda Sitting

So I have had this card done for over a week now...with no time to post her...but here she is!

One of my favourite colour combo's is pink and brown...the result this lovely Tilda.  I did a bit of stitching on the panels.  I just went a little crazy looking for the paper that I had written all the colour combo's on....I found it...so here we go.

Hair:  YR21, Y32, E35, E37

Dress, Socks, Window Fram:  E35, E25, E37

Shirt:  R11, R22, R27

Skin:  E00, E000, E01 & R20 for the cheeks

Window Glass:  B0000
