Always a Princess!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm on a roll this week getting little things finished off this.  I have had this image coloured for about 2 months now but today I finished it off, woo hoo.  This is Senior-ita Magda from Stamping Bella.  I think of my Grandma every time I look at this image.  She was always dressed to the 9's and looked like a Princess, I don't ever recall a day in my life that she was not perfectly put together.  My 12 year old daughter Emilee is going to be just like her Great Grandma, she has been a "Dress Up" girl since she was not like her Mama!!

This lovely lady is coloured with Copic's:

Skin - E000, E00, E11

Hair & Earings - C1, C2, C4

Scarf - W1, W3, W5

Dress & Shoes - B32, B34, B37, B39

Ground - T2, T4

Shading - BG0000

Crown - Wink of Stella Gold

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you enjoy today's post.  Have a wonderful day!

Look at Nana go!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I really enjoy colouring the Senior-ita girls from Stamping Bella and I just love Dolores.  My husband is always saying he is going to get me one of these little machines, BUT he is afraid I might kill myself since I have no co-ordination skills.  I'm bad enough on 4 wheels never mind just 2 LOL!  I can totally see this as me in a few years though.

I coloured Dolores with my new Spectrum Noir pencils.  I must say I really like these pencils, I give you fair warning they are addictive!  They go on smooth, blend very well with Gamsol & blending stumps.  The colours are vibrant without being too much.  Yes I know I took yet another break from my Copic's...who would have thought.

So again no Copic's on this one, here is the list of Spectrum colours for you:

Skin - 004, 005, 089

Dress - 62, 63, 64

Jacket 33, 34, 35

Eye wear - 84, 107

Vespa - 114, 115, 120

Wheels - 112, 117, 119

Hair - 113, 117

Vespa Spots & Shoes - 33

Ground - 120

Light on Vespa - 113

Background - 112

I used Your Next Stamp Gumdrops ontop of the ribbon.  Now this is one application for these little beauties that I thought for certain I would need to use liquid glue with.  I put them in place & went to take them back off to put the glue on and guess what...they stayed right where I put them....NO glue!  I seriously love these things!  I also used the Ecstacy Crafts Spring Folder Fun embossing folder "Roses" for the background on this card.

Hope you enjoy today's post, see you again soon & thanks for stopping by!

Tattered Lace Wedding Card

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a wedding card I made for a wedding my son attended a couple of weeks ago.  I asked him if he wanted me to make the card for him and he said "yes Mom but there must be no colouring".  Well that was like oh great what do I do now...I colour everything!  So off I went to my Tattered Lace dies because they were just the perfect fit for a wedding card.  This is what I came up with.  Now I must say these are not my pictures they are my sons.  I gave him the card on the fly and said now don't forget to take some nice pic's and send them to me.  Well this is what I thought...not the greatest but at least he took them.

The card is all made with Worldwin 80/110 lb metallic cardstock which I must say the Tattered Lace dies cut perfectly through.  So a very simple yet elegant card, it was 5 x 7 so it was a heavy one.  The wedding verse I found on line so it is not mine...but the words for perfect for the couple getting married.

This is the inside of the card:

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Disney Layout #1

Hi Everyone,

It has been such a long time since I got a post put up on my blog that I thought I better get at it.  The OCS visitors to the store know that I have been on quite a Disney kick lately & have several layouts completed and up in the store...I'm just now getting around to blogging them.

Today's layout is from our family Disney trip with our daughter Emilee back in 2011...yes 2011, I'm a little slow with my scrapbooking I know.  Most of the layouts that I have completed consist of single pages because our daughter did not really like all the hustle & bustle of Disney.  She was more a Sea World kinda girl.

So here we go with Layout #1 using the Queen and Company papers.

I will try to get back to posting on a more regular.  Thanks so much for stopping by & don't forget to check out the OCS Design Team Blog for more inspiration.
