Ready for Mother's Day!

Hi Everyone,

Well it's true I'm all ready for Mother's Day well at least the card is anyway.  I made this one for my Mom and I chose this Stampingbella image called Uptown girl Maybelline loves Mail because my Mom just loves happy mail.

I coloured the image first on just a big piece of Xpress It because I wasn't too sure what I was going to do with the card design.  Then things changed when the new Spellbinders arrived...oh how I love the Elegant Ovals.  So parts of my image where cut off when I cut it out with the die, but I really liked how it looked.  This card is 5" x 6 1/2" (cardstock size 10" x 6 1/2").  I wanted to keep the card simple so I went with no patterned paper and used an lovely Cuttlebug embossing folder instead.

This image was coloured with just Copic these are the colours:

Bunny Blooms...thinking Spring!

Hi Everyone,

Today I have little card I put together for another one of my daughters teachers.  I put this adorable little bunny called Bunny Blooms from High Hopes Rubbers Stamps on a wobble...oh how I love my wobbles.

I also had some fun playing with my new Irresistible Spray from Imagine Crafts.  This new spray has texture and it shines...yeah me!  So I sprayed my white flowers, the butterfly & the tag on the inside (I ended up not using the oval).  I added some new Sparkly Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp to the front of the card...just had to get a little more limegreen in there.

Hope you have a wonderful day & thanks for stopping by!

For a "Special Teacher"!

Hi Everyone,

Today I'm back with a card that I have made for a very "Special Teacher".  My daughter has one teacher who is so special to her that I thought I would make her an Easter card.  I will try to get more cards done for the teachers but stuff usually gets in the way.  I know that Emilee would be quite sad if I didn't get this one done though, so here it is.

It's finally here....Spring that is!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Okay I was totally ready for the arrival of Spring...oh yes I was.  I made this card for my Mom a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of Springs arrival.  Mom will be so surprised to see that I have used frogs on the card.  Just in case you didn't know I'm not in love with frogs BUT these frogs are just too adorable.  I have used Froggy Stack and the Sign Post from High Hopes for this card.  I'm also over the moon for Elsabeth Craft dies they rock!  On this card I have used the Accordian Oval Die & the Oval Flourish Frame.  The paper is the new Springtime Collection from Doodlebug.

A couple of close ups of the images for you:

Hope you enjoy today's post...Happy Spring!
